Rapport från Seminariet i Tirana

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

It is with great pleasure that we would like to inform you hereby about the seminar had with pastor Hakan Sunnliden and Kerstin Berggren in Tirana, organized in our church on April 15-17. This was the 6th seminar arranged, in the chain of seminars led by our pastor Jorgen Boytler and pastor Klas Lindberg, starting from year 2013.

Friday evening we celebrated Holy Communion in a service that was really blessed, to be followed Saturday and Sunday by the seminar with leaders and potential leaders from the five different areas where we work: Bathore, Elbasan, Burrel, Pogradec and Tirana. 

Detta är Hadji, vår första kontakt i Bathore. Han var då muslim men har nu tagit emot Jesus som Herren och döptes i höstas. Det är första gången jag får ge honom av Sakramentet: "Kristi kropp för dig utgiven".

Teachings were led by Hakan Sunnliden; the main purpose was to know and understand how the Word of God builds fellowship and how we can be equipped with practices to be used in our groups in the long run. 

Detta är just när undervisningen börjar på lördag morgon. Guds Ord kom att göra starkt intryck på oss alla under dagens lopp. Det är Ordet som förändrar människors hjärtan. Ingenting annat.

Nu är studierna igång. Vad gör Jesus just nu? På Faderns högra sida?

The seminar was blessed; people felt engaged, motivated and encouraged to go back to their working areas and share what they have learned with their children, youth and adults. We shared meals together in the church and had the opportunity to have informal talks during the breaks.

 

Detta är ledare och blivande ifrån Bathore. Fr v Hadji, Mariana, (?) och skymd Edmonda och s Kerstin.
Be särskilt för Mariana. Hon kommer från en strängt muslimsk familj, är inte döpt men strålar av Jesus.

Before leaving, Hakan and Kerstin had a meeting in Bathore, which is where our poorest community lives. 

We as staff and leaders would like to express hereby special thanks to Hakan Sunnliden and Kerstin Berggren for the time spent with us and for their big heart for the work in Albania.
